When it comes to finding the council that will help clients navigating the complexity of employment and labor law in the state of Illinois Mike Tomlinson is the right choice. He is an attorney with a significant amount of litigation experience and his specialties within employment law are: 1. Restrictive Covenants 2. Trade Secrets 3. Securities litigation 4. Illinois Labor & Employment Statuettes More importantly, he is very patient. Finding a reasonable attorney in Chicago who will sincerely translate the legal jargon to clients is rare. He is someone who appreciates transparency and will work with your circumstances. Another big plus is that he doesn't charge for phone consultations. If anyone has an employment law related matter, I highly recommend that they at least have a discussion with Mike before making a decision.

Mike is a consummate professional. I'll admit I am always skeptical dealing with lawyers because each professional varies and we've all heard horror stories but Mike went above and beyond my expectations. Besides his courteous demeanor, he was extremely reasonable in pricing.He was warm, personable, and at all times focused on helping my company's needs. We all feel secure and safe with Mike handling our business and wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend him. (I also posted this on yelp but wanted to share here to my google friends as well because he's service is that exceptional!)

Our firm provides marketing support for industrial manufacturers. Mike was very instrumental in helping us think long-term about our business and taking the right steps to protect the best interests of the company.

Mike has helped us with several items. Most recently, he reviewed our service agreement that we use with our clients. His firm is efficient, professional and reasonably priced. I felt that we got the quality of a large downtown firm with a personal touch!
