This was my first time at Tonia's and I had a great birthday party with tea service at their outdoor seating! Tonia, Kim, Natalie & Team are phenomenal; they truly made it a special event for us, and made sure everyone in the party was taken care of. I highly recommend calling ahead of time, and working with them through the details of your event to make sure there are no surprises. It is a cute local business, amazing attention to details, from delicious food to delicate cups & dishes! Please be kind & patient, we are all here to enjoy a great experience I would love to come back again!
Such a warm, charming and delicious tea room. The ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. The tea selection is abundant. The cream of asparagus soup was perfect! Fabulous scones with clotted cream. Loved the tea sandwiches and the quiche. The lemon curd pods in earl grey crust were spot on. Our server was kind, attentive, knowledgeable and charming. Had an opportunity to meet and speak with Tonia. What an extraordinary woman with a rare passion for her business that shows in every detail. Highly recommend Tonia’s Victorian Rose for an Afternoon Tea or any special event!
Wonderful food, fantastic service and over the top amazing atmosphere. Went for the Harry Potter dinner. Every detail was thought out and tied to the books - from the moment you walk in you are sorted to your house, then you pass through a very convincing brick wall at platform 9 3/4 to a space dripping in Harry Potter. The food was from scratch and absolutely delicious. The butter beer was a joy! The kids thought the lemonade was too sweet, I thought it was great. There was 1 server for the entire place and you still felt like you were the only customer. The trivia was actually kinda hard but super fun! The parking is against and behind the building which is great. The staff made you feel like family. The booking was online and super easy. Will go again for sure!!
Time for tea! My sister and I wanted to check out a true tea house and Tonia's Victorian Rose does not disappoint! Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the pot pie omgosh it's great The owner introduced herself. The staff was very friendly. Very relaxing and they had a great selection of endlessly timey classics. Beautifully decorated. A lovely spot to unwind. Wheelchair accessibility: None
Went to Victorian Rose for the first time as part of a baby shower. The attention to detail was fantastic. The menu had a lot of great items, but I am gluten-free, so I wasn't sure what my options would be. To my surprise, not only was the soup gluten-free and delicious, but my whole plate was made especially for me. The bread for the cucumber sandwich, the crust on the quiche, even the little tart was gluten-free! It was extremely clear that the owner and staff cared about making the whole thing a great experience for everyone! I would recommend this to anyone, and rumor has it, there will be a speakeasy added soon!
What a lovely, lovely place. Tonia made us feel welcomed and right at home. The decor is perfect. And the food...omg....DELICIOUS. We celebrated an early birthday for me and she was kind enough to bring out ice cream in the cutest little teacup, along with leading everyone into song. I will be back, and what a great way to start off my birthday celebrations!! Oh and the food is ALL homemade, even the ice cream!! Thank you Tonia, Love, Margaret and Penny
This place was very cute and perfect for a tea party! My mother and I really enjoyed the quiche and salad. We were anxious to try the crêpes but they were sold out when we arrived. The hours are limited which makes it difficult to attend. The staff is friendly and the place is cozy and very Victorian.
My mom and I brought my 4-year-old daughter for tea to celebrate her birthday, and Tonia and her staff made sure that it was extra special. The two-tiered high tea was delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. I loved that the children's tea had special touches, like a heart-shaped tea sandwich and butterfly-shaped fruit. Of course, the number 4 sprinkles on top made the day extra exciting for my daughter! We were able to sit in the private greenhouse outside, and we were comfortable and enjoyed the decor. It was a peaceful, relaxing experience and we loved every minute! We drove about an hour to have tea and we definitely plan to come back in the future!
We went here for my grandmothers birthday and all I can say is WOW! It was so cute and cozy inside, Jenna was amazing with my niece and explained everything! We will definitely be back in the near future
Amazing tea service for price. Great food, atmosphere, and service! My large group got a 2-tier service plus I was able to get a separate vegan plate and everything on there was superb quality! It's a very intimate space but their reservation process was responsive and easy if you have a bigger group.Food: 5/5
