We’re all about the burgers and the beer. We focus on being good at that, and well… it seems to make a whole lot of people happy. With only the finest ingredients and 24 of the coldest beers you’ve ever had on tap, you get what many people consider the secret of life… the perfect burger and a cold beer.

Established in 2007, we’re quickly making our mark in burger history. Ranked as Texas Monthly’s #4 burger joint in their “Top 50 Burger Joints in Texas” cover feature for August 2009, the legend of the Toro Burger grows daily.

Well my girlfriend and I went here a few weeks ago. I had a delicious burger. I don't remember exactly what was on it but I loved it and since it was my first time at Toro burger, it made a good impression. My girlfriend did not have a good experience at all. She ordered some holiday festive burger since it was around thanksgiving when we went. She took one bite and couldn't eat any more. I didn't think it could be that bad so I took a small bite of her burger. I could not believe the staff allowed such an atrocity on the menu. It was some turkey burger with cranberry sauce and stuffing? I don't know what it was but it was disgusting. Do the people who come up with these ideas actually taste the food they serve? Again i can't believe they let that horrible thing on the menu. My girlfriend was disappointed with her food and I don't blame her at all. I give this restaurant 3 stars because my meal was pretty good, but we don't plan on going back.

Our second visit to the Sunland Park location and our last. Sat ourselves on the patio when one of the servers said wherever you’d like, waited 10 minutes before out server Bianca apologized and asked if anyone brought us menus or took our drink order. We ordered some drinks and an appetizer 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. Our appetizer arrived in a timely manner along with the beers. Our food on the other hand, not so lucky! We waited 45 minutes our server continued to apologize saying it’s almost ready at least 3 times. Finally I went into the dining area to cancel the order and our server said it was ready and would box it for us. 8-10 minutes later Emma the manager that never even acknowledged us came over and asked what the problem was and I explained that we’ve waited almost an hour for our food. She went on to explain that the kitchen was backed up and that they’d boxed our meals to go. The food took another 10 minutes to arrive and when we got our bill it reflected a 10% military discount. Which we piad and also tipped over 20% to our server. Surprisingly when we got home our medium rare burger was rare and completely raw in the middle and the buffalo burger wasn’t buffalo meat the salt and vinegar fries were regular fries and the chicken sandwich was cold and the wrapper was torn. The manager had no regard for our time and the disservice we received. Our food was terrible and we will not be back.

Went there for the first time with a friend. Nice atmosphere, very good service and very good food. The burger was big and juicy and the avocado fries were excellent. Over all a nice place.

Service good but menu has incomplete descriptions. Ordered a turkey burger but was not informed that it had onions in the mixture. Manager was great, took care of it and brought me something else but an accurate description of the food would make things better.

Our waitress was very sweet and our Toro burgers were sooo delicious! All good.
