This is a drop by place to walk in off the street and pick up some cheap bread.

If you haven't been here before it is open to the public although there is no sign indicating same. Besides the public would wonder how could a factory making bread have such filthy windows. This place has disgusting, filthy windows and is first noticed when you drive by and I cringe every time I used to go here. Even asked them why they not cleaned and they laugh and say they are too busy to clean them. Huh! Update: WINDOW COVERING Now overtop the filthy windows. Public Health please visit this site.

I have bought bagels here and they not anything close to what a bagel is. When they fresh they taste stale. Croissants are mediocre and very messy to eat with flakes all over my clothes. The loafs not to my liking and lacking flavor and same with long yellow color of their hot dog buns. I like the danishes and greek filled cheese buns I afraid to eat after being ill last time I tried one.

I see a gazillion ppl coming and going here and they are familiar buying loaves of bread for delivery but I don't like the concept of buying food in a place simular to a pig style hole in the wall. Toronto Public Health would close them down if they walked in there.

Don't expect the set up to be all clean inside because you walking into the area where bread, rolls etc are made. It not hot just grungy. Nothing is served here. There are no beverages. You basically walk in through a dim lit doorway, get a plastic bag and use tongs to buy items laid out on tables. It not sanitary at all. A price sheet is posted. Bagels 12 for $2 etc. 

I stopped coming here because the food had no appeal to me and occasionally if I picked up a specialty item like store bought lemon tarts I was paying close to full price and not getting any bargain. 

This place is not for everyone.

The store has some great product it’s just their chocolate chip cookies are disgusting I suggest that you do not buy them.

The muffins we bought are extremely stale. Variety isn't quite there either. Very disappointed with this bakery!

Great prices and friendly staff.  Sells out of some popular items too often to give it 5 stars.
