At the risk of sounding like the old guy, I do remember when you could not purchase alcohol on Sunday and bought the hard stuff at your local "package store" what was it back then 905 liquor? anyway here in Missouri where we are all God Fearing types you can buy booze just about everywhere and anytime. There are still places that are old school but this is a new business model, clean, well stocked and with staff that seems to know whats what. I found the  prices here to be as good or better than anywhere else and for sure cheaper than Schnucks. In my experiences here the staff have been very helpful and on the ball.

Went in because I had a gift card and they had a hard to find bourbon listed as available online. Asked one of the employees where it was and he informed me that they keep them for a special once a year raffle and they are not for sale. If this is the case they should not be listed on their website. A little aggravated I found two bottles I wanted and proceeded to check out. This was a slow process as the two people in front of me both had pricing issues. When it was my turn one of the bottles that was shelved above a $59.99 price tag was actually 99.99 and had been placed in the wrong spot. I asked them to remove it and went to purchase the other with my gift card. When the card was scanned it had a zero balance. After a few minutes the manager came over and informed me that some of their gift cards were compromised and I would have to call customer care to see if they will send me a new gift card. At this point I was done and left with nothing. Although most of the employees were nice I will not go back with much better options closer to me.

Stopped here on the way home from work today 2/28/18. Brought my co worker inside so he did not have to wait outside since I would be looking at multiple selections (this is not an in and out place)
The majority of the time I spent looking at beer, the loss prevention was so busy staring down my co worker like he stole something.
Mind you, he did not even browse like I was.

My only assumption is that this happened because he was the only person that was not white in the store other than one employee

As I approached the cashier I can see  she was making a wierd contact with the lp who was standing in the isle still .
With a weird nod she asked to see both mine and my co workers ID ...he is not 21 so the manager refused
I'm 30 years old myself ...Everytime I have been to this store with my brother I've never had any problem
Never asked for ID any other time until I brought a person of color in

I didn't even want to come in here, but I was impressed when I did. Knowledgeable employees, free samples everywhere you turn, and really good prices. I will definitely be back

Best selection and best prices on any wine,  beer or spirits. The staff is very friendly,  extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful.  The largest selection available anywhere.
