I bought my first bicycle from T&C in 1998. The place has not changed much and that is great thing. The staff are all friendly and highly competent but most of all enthusiastic about everything they sell. 

I have shopped around a lot over the years but I have never bought bicycles anywhere else. They carry from the basic to the exotic and I have never felt pressured into buying something more than I need. (I do it anyway but they never pressure me to) 

You get a year long discount on accessories if you buy a bike and one free (necessary) tune up. The value of a competent bicycle shop is almost beyond measure and T&C has a great small town shop feel with the skill and tools of the big corporate stores. They only adjust you bike for free once but they happily (well act happy anyway) answer any questions you have.

Came in to buy a set of pedals for my mountain bike.  The gentleman helped me pick out an awesome set of pedals at a decent price. Very helpfull

Helped me out today--quick and efficient. The kid who helped me out was not personable (but quick and efficient, which goes a long way!) I will buy my next bike from them for the service (don't ever buy a bike at Dick's Sporting Goods---awful!)

I have shopped here for 25 years buying multiple  bikes and replacement parts. Kinda old fashion and believe in supporting small local business. I bought a $25.00 pair of bar ends today for my Mt. Bike and installed them for a ride the next day. 4 hrs later my bike fell over with the bar ends on them and the thing broke in half. So thinking I would receive some understanding and a replacement I called the shop and spoke to Doc the owner. Doc told me sorry but it's your falt, in which I replied my falt? Searusaly? Ok I baught these 4 hrs ago and my bike fell over from the wind, it's my falt? Doc replies, well it's not mine.  In this day an age when so many small shop's depend on it's customers that walk through the door and repeat business this was a slap in the face. Sorry Doc, you shot yourself in the foot!!! Not another penny will ever go into your shop from my pocket.
