This is the best place to get a wide variety of affordable yet good quality of wine in Manhattan. Based on my comparisons with other wine shops no one can beat the prices offered at Trader Joe's. If you don't mind waiting on a super long line you should try to come in during the day where things are less hectic, even when the line is very long they tend to move rather quickly. Don't get discouraged when the line is out the door during the busy holiday season.  I only wish they would open up another location that's closer to uptown so I could come more often.

This is an amazing and comprehensive wine shop with great prices but my favorite thing is the knowledge of the staff. Every New Year’s eve we do a sit down dinner party for 12 dear friends and for the last six years either Ibsen or Donna (this year both together!!!) has helped us pair wines with each course. They are thoughtful and incredibly knowledgeable and are always spot on with their advice. If you need good pairing advice ask for Ibsen or Donna!

My first time here.  Went with a friend and I was able to get my dry bottle of white wine for the risotto.  The customer service in the store was outstanding.   I loved this well organized store and would recommend it to all looking for good wine at reasonable prices.

Love this wine! I travel from Long Island at least three times a year to pick up my family and friends orders. Charles Shaw all varieties, Purple Moon and my new favorite Velvet Moon. You can’t beat their prices for these delicious wines. I always call ahead and they have my order ready.  This makes  my trip in a breeze. Thank you to all the friendly staff for always being so helpful . Wouldn’t go anywhere else..

The only trader Joe's wine store in Manhattan, maybe all of nyc. Their selection has grown and though it's a bit small, the prices and offerings are worth it. After work and Saturdays are obviously busier, but weekdays around 3or4 seem to be excellent times to stop in to avoid the crowds ave lines. Employees are super helpful and knowledgeable. On more than one occasion an employee has walked me around helping selectbottles for parties.
