We went here for my birthday. The place was lively. The staff was friendly & the food was good. Our waitress overheard my husband saying it was my birthday. She & the staff sang to me & presented me with a brownie lava cake. Very impressed for her attention to detail.

We were told by the hotel staff were we stayed at that this steakhouse was better than Texas Roadhouse. That wasn't true or even close. I got a 16oz Porterhouse for $26.99 ordered medium. The filet side was great but the strip was really bad. The baked potato wasn't cooked right as it was kinda sandy. It's that weird texture potatoes get when they aren't cooked for the right amount of time. The best thing ordered and would recommend was the fried mushrooms. They were some of the best I've ever had. The mushrooms gave them an extra star otherwise I would have given a 2 star rating. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed but most of the workers not busy were playing on their cellphones. I don't find this behavior to make me feel like a guest or very welcome.

Great food. Really good steaks. Good prices. You couldn't ask for better service. Every one is so very nice. We drive from Leesville so you know the food is really good.

I wouldn't let my dog eat there. I rarely leave a really negative review. Being a small town restaurants are limited so I've several experiences here. The shrimp pasta still has shells, steaks smell rotten, baked potatoes are over cooked. Cactus chicken is ok. I used to get a salad because they have really good salads. That is until I saw that the waitress made it with her bare hands. Her dirty hands. I don't have anything good to say about the owner either. I will say that every time I've been there I've had EXCELLENT service. Keep up the work work waiters and waitresses. You all are probably the only reason this place is still in business.

I always stop here when I'm in town. Decent steak, good atmosphere and service. Pretty waitresses!
