Worst service. Shameless people. Driver didn't show up at all. Another driver was sent after 3 hours. Took passengers from the next scheduled bus. Were not polite and apologetic. The new driver was joking about being late. Only one service rep was working on counter to issue and exchange tickets and there were 40 people in line. Horrible service. Utterly disappointed.

My Greyhound bus from VT to Columbia, SC, stopped here. The men's room toilets were full of "#2," you know, "the brown stuff." If you had a stomach bug and you *absolutely had* to "go,"if your choice was to "go" in the Albany Greyhound men's room, or in your pants, my advice would be to""go" in your pants. Oh, yeah, 1 more thing, the Greyhound bus back from SC to VT was overbooked all the way back to Boston. Greyhound, instead of updating our reservations, just passed us on, hours late, to the next overbooked Greyhound bus, where our original reservations were worthless.

The blocks where the bus terminal located in are old and unsafe. Kinda strange because the beautiful buildings of city government are only a few blocks away. I met homeless people a few times. And it's always hard to call a taxi, there's NO UBER! If there are a few cabs stopping at the gate, then you are lucky. But it's way better than gotobus or megabus. Greyhound don't oversell tickets (even if they do, they will arrange another bus immediately), and they have a real station instead of arriving at some random remote streets.

Don't deliver on promises. Very slow wifi. Highly crowded. Not recommended

What should be the departure time turns out to be the boarding time. Not a very speedy or organized process. Need to be there about an hour in advance if you want a window seat
