Good enough place to start. NEVER sign anything beyond a 6 month lease. Move on to another company as soon as you can get hired. I worked for this company for two years. First year was all rainbows and unicorns. Bonus for working over the holidays was 1500. Next year it was a thousand. OK no big deal. I drove and delivered through, then my aunt passed.  Obviously, unexpected.  Came back on duty,  drove and delivered on New years eve and New years day. . Had the NERVE  to sit within arm's reach of me and and say I didn't fulfill my contract.  There are several people at Trans Am Trucking  who know who I am and where I live. Be more than happy to have that conversation again when we're not in the middle of the administrative building.  Garage is cool all day. Hopefully you understand the mindset of people who only care about their own 401 K.

It so nice to see everybody playing nice together.  Trans- Am is a joke I am an experienced driver with years of experience.  I worked for them about 5 weeks my first thought was trying to purchase a truck that I could take elsewhere. Quickly learned there lease program is a scam. Back then you where at the mercy of your dispatcher you had no options. I thank you Trans-Am I have never worked so hard to achieve so little.

Question. Do you pay detention? Do you pay layover? Do you know your drivers by name? I already know the answers to these questions, just curious to see if they want to be honest or not

I was there today and for my experience i pull flat bed but on the 5th i will join TRANS AM i love the way they receive ...BUT IM ALREADY OUT OF THAT NIGHTMARE IF YOU SMART AND DONT WANT TO BE BROKE DONT WALK OUT RUN WHEN I RETURN MY TRUCK ALL NICE NOW THEY SAID I OWE THEM WELL WILL SEE NO MILES WHEN I GOT A GOOD LOAD THEY TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME NOT TOO MUCH TO SAID JUST DONT DRIVE FOR THEM

I drove for Trans Am almost 2 years. I came from CRST. While driving for CRST I lost everything. Car, apt etc everything. Trans Am gave me a chance long story short I got it all back and better. I was on the Texas Regional fleet out of Rockwall Tx. DM was Travis, Leo, and Later Mrs Penny. We were balls to the wall no sitting and plenty overtime work if you were a go getta. They have the best entry level program for beginners. Hence NO CONTRACT like CRST and the rest of them. At the end of the day it's like this. Trucking is like anything else. If you give it your best don't be petty know what your goals are and utilize the right perception you will succeed. I left to return to the oilfield (this time a driver) but enjoyed my stay there and you will too. That's if your a trucker and not a Shucker. Good Luck God Bless.
