I wish I could give this establishment no stars because this manager is terrible. Coat check increased by a dollar since the last time I came so I dug through my pockets for some extra change. I gave the lady a toonie, some quarters, 2 dimes and a nickel... Trappers/palace would not accept my money with the response "my manager won't let me accept small change". I was not trying to pay my entire 3 dollar outrageous coat check fee with small change. She then served another customer not accepting my money. MONEY IS MONEY! IF MY SMALL CHANGE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH NEITHER IS MY 100 DOLLAR BILLS SIR  I'm upset to say the least. :(

I hadn’t been there until I went mid-day with my friend to pick up his coat from the night prior. It was dark, gloomy, and mysterious, just like the future of the U.S in the hands of trump. The demographic was 50+ yr old men, divorced with dark histories. I met a man with one eye. Well, I didn’t really meet him.. We passed by each other and I think he could smell my fear, it was a far more intimate experience than I wanted. For the average joe, this is a lions den. But for a lost soul looking for some wise advice and cheap beer at 11:30am on a Sunday, this is your place.

I love when places dont accept my money - whether its dimes or hundred dollar bills... it is just as valuable. I dont care that it inconveniences you, im not drunk enough to not notice that youre trying to cheat me. So screw your terrible service and sticky dance floor. Ive had more fun at a funeral service.

Stupid amounts of waiting times. Staff doesn't give two craps about anyone. Rude security rude bartenders. Go somewhere else.
