We booked a recent trip to Jamaica through this company.  The resort we booked with Riu- Montego Bay came highly recommended by not only the agent we went through, but another agent in the office.  She claimed to have visited it and spoke very highly of it.  Told us we would have a great time and not regret our stay.  We spent 5 days at the resort, and it was truly a more than sub par experience.  The resort was beyond disappointing.  Not only was it outdated in general, we were moved rooms due to roaches and loss of power.  Food was not impressive, and every meal was buffet-approach.  The beach was not policed neighboring resorts were, so we were CONSTANTLY haggled by locals to buy souvenirs/drugs. The location of the resort resulted in us having to travel a minimum of 1 1/2 hours to enjoy anything off site.  These are just the main points of frustration we experienced.  We reached out to a travel agency when booking this trip with the expectations of avoiding an experience like this.  Upon reading the feedback from previous guests at the resort, they had horrible reviews and comments, all similar to ours...the travel agency should have enlightened us of this, and suggested other options.  We would have happily paid the small amount extra to stay at a Sandals or Couples resort both nearby.  We never had anyone follow up with us on our trip and/or experience/feedback either.  We learned an expensive lesson...future trips will be researched, planned and booked elsewhere.

Really focused on getting what I wanted for my vacation

I have used Travel Affiliates for over 30 years and they've always taken great care of my family and I.  Theres no extra charge for using a travel agent, btw.

Anne worked extremely hard to make our trip happen. I would recommend her.
