I love this place, and their staff!! They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and VERY thorough!! They love your animals and care for them as if they were their own!! I would recommend this vet to anyone with a pet!!! Overall, consistently excellent experiences!!!

Have highly recommended them in the past ,  cant say that any more. Recently had our male dog that was dieing that they wouldnt see to have put down humanely . They said they couldnt see him that day and asked if we wanted an appointment for another day  even though he was in obvious pain and near death. We found another vet that said bring him in but sadly he died in our front yard. Yesterday another older dog of ours experienced  a seizure,  first seizure she has ever had,my wife called crying   to get her in and was told they were booked solid but said  to drop her off and they would see her if and when they found time.  We called Carr veterinarian clinic in Oak Ridge, they said bring her in immediately and the vet  seen her right away, and we had never been there before. After using triad animal hospital for 8 years , with multiple litters of puppies, check ups etc of multiple family dogs we will no longer go there. When your too busy to work in a dieing family pet thats already a patient thats suffering or an emergency situation like a seizure you know the compassion is not there! Not sure what has happened when they once were compassionate to now void of any.

My dog has had Separation Anxiety sense she was a puppy and I have always got babysitters for her when I could (3 Years). I left her with my parents (an older couple in NY) for 6 months while i got settled in NC where I have no family, while there she was under constant supervision, so her nose and mouth healed up. Drove up to NY to bring her down here to NC and then straight to the vet. Vet said nothing was wrong with her and that she (the vet) had 3 dogs who don't have this issue... Tried to explain the situation but she insisted.. so the past month i have been doing what she told me. I get up 3 hours before work to take her for a run, then take her out for another two short walks in the morning averaging 2.5 hours in the morning and then go back home for lunch and then at night.. and like she says no attention when leaving the house... I did this for a month.... called back the vet after telling her she the dog busted up her face..pool of blood on my rug from her nose and mouth.... VET still told me it is flees (HUH dog doesn't itch at all just hurts her head when alone)... So she told me my dog banging her head on walls an rubbing her nose in the rug when humans aren't home STILL is flees.. Word to the wise go to another Vet.
