I really wish Trolley Square could be the place it was in its '70s and '80s heyday.  This was the unique and upscale mall in the city.  And it was funky, receiving national attention as a historic reuse of the city's former trolley barns.  Changes in the late '80s tried to make it fit the mall mold, and things went downhill from there.  Worth a trip for its excellent local bookstore, cool card shop, and other local shops and restaurants.  Please support them.  But the magic is gone and various attempts at improvement by a string of owners don't really help.  Can't go home again, but there has to be another way to keep this important Utah place viable.

All the little shops have their own unique, authentic twist! The Spaghetti Factory in Trolley is my absolute favorite restaurant. The book store there is also amazing and HUGE! I got a copy of a national geographic from 1917 there. The Desert Edge Brewery there has of course great priced beer. The Rodizio grill has a great atmosphere and amazing food and service. Parking can definitely get a little tricky since its scattered on all 4 sides of the building but there is always a spot. I love that it never seems too crowded inside. Just all around a lovely place!

This is a great place to get shopping done. Clothing, books, coffee shop, awesome body wash/soap store.. you can definitely get unique finds! I was able to shop the stores and get gifts for all different types of friends. Such a beautiful historic building to walk around.

Trolley Square has always been a nice place to shop. It's a clean interesting place to go. With the addition of Whole Foods there's just one more reason to stop here. There are plenty of dining establishments. You owe it to yourself to stop at Trolley Square. And make sure you take some pictures of the historic Water Tower.

Great, upscale shopping mall. It's in an old trolley building (thus the name). They have done a really nice job making it look nice. They have a good collection of stores and restaurants there. It's not your typical run of the mill kind of shopping mall. When you think of mall rats. It doesn't attract that kind of crowd, which I like.
