Tropical Auto sold me a vehicle with extensive mechanical issues without disclosing them at the time of purchase. Did not acknowledge error. I purchased a used vehicle from Tropical Auto advertised as a running and problem free vehicle. There was documentation that was presented declaring that such vehicle was free of damage, or any mechanical failure. During the financing process, sales person stated one price and submitted higher amounts supposedly to ensure approval; this was not disclosed until after third party approved said loan. Within a day after vehicle purchase, mechanical issues began to arise including oil leakage and transmission problem. Dealer was notified and minimal intent to resolve was offered; dealer ignored the issues and didn't recognize their fault. When said vehicle was purchased, dealer assured repeatedly that there were no issues with vehicle. From one's opinion, dealer used false documentation and poor ethical sales practice to lure customers into purchasing ruined vehicles. After requesting some form of reimbursement for repair , dealer refused. It's been a year and vehicle is still financed while inoperable and stationed in garage due to expensive mechanical repair needed. A second vehicle was purchased by a different dealer since the vehicle purchased at this dealer no longer functions. Dealer must change sales practice and disclose truthful information.
