The jerk pork was the truth. If you love Spice this is the place to be. I started eating it and couldn't stop . That's y the container is not full lol
I love my Jamaican food like everyone else. But I’ve been ordering their jerk pork by itself and omg. They cut it so nice and give you all the pieces you expect to enjoy! I think they changed owners through the years but whoever it is now is doing a great job. Every sauce is on point and even the girl taking orders was pleasant! I will continue to drive 1hour and 30 mins for it!
The girl at the register had the funkiest attitude. I asked for extra sauce and 1st she why didn't you get sauce on your meal! Then the cook told her to give them to me and she threw them in the bag......
Not the first but definitely the last time going to this location. U believe the cashier name is Shasilee or something like that name on the receipt, her attitude and her face well skin up is a turn off. Food is ok but the customer service is a turn off and due to how I’m not begging for the food but paying my hard earned money I’ll go elsewhere
I moved away a year ago and have not been to this restaurant since then, and I will probably never go back. I paid $12.17 for a stew chicken only three measly pieces were given, rice and peas a ton of that was given because it is the cheapest thing to make with a handful of cabbage Not to mention FYI, the $0.49 they charged me. Tropical Jerk charges everyone who uses a debit/credit a fee which pays for their monthly card fee, smdhh. If you do not want to pay your establishment's monthly card fee, get rid of your machine and make your business a Cash Only business. PEROID. You will never see bigger establishments charging customers a fee to use a card, I could go into 7-Eleven and spend a quarter, and I would not be charged a fee; also, this would not fly in a caucasian neighborhood African Americans are always trying to keep each other down.
I paid 23 dollars for large oxtail. They had more fat than meat. Will never go back there again i got rob of my money. They can goto HellFood: 1/5
Great Jamaican food, the service could be better, but don’t take it personal. Everyone seems to have the same attitude in here but don’t let that take away from the food! Jerk chicken, rice & peas, with oxtail gravy, you can’t go wrong! Their homemade hot and sweet sauces are awesome as well!
Food very very good. Love the scotch bonnet pepper sauce. Love their pork, chicken, goat, oxtail. All sorts of amazing food to try. Great customer service.
Simple dish oxtails peas and rice veggies don’t taste the love... Rice under cooked oxtails could have been cooked down a bit more before serving cabbage good... also think it would be helpful to customers if prices were listed
The front person mumbled everything she said. She made it seem like it was a hassle to take my order. Then the curry chicken was left over, warmed up.Food: 3/5
