Quick and reliable, Tropical Smoothie's are all the same. Pleasant staff at this location. Clean bathroom. Always a good sign that the garbage area is clean. Could wipe the tables down a bit more frequently though, the first two we sat at were sticky. Best smoothie I've had in awhile.
My husband and I come into the restaurant fairly close to the store closing. Instead of making us aware of their rule to not make food five minutes before the restaurant closes the cashier was very rude and gave us a hard time rolling her eyes telling us next time we would not be able to order food after a certain time. That’s fine! instead of complaining this employee could have just nicely let us know they were not taking anymore orders. She was rolling her eyes and when I went to take my bag of food from her shoved it down onto the counter and rushed us out of the store. She had light brown hair and was wearing a blue shirt. The employee also waited until after we ordered the food to make us aware of the policy. We would have had no problem just ordering drinks. I felt very unwelcome as some one who had worked food services before I understand wanting to go home but that was un called for.7/20/2022.
The smoothie that I ordered was watered down and tasted like it was made with old moldy fruit.The cashier, blonde haired girl, had to put on gloves just to give me a refund. I will not be returning to this location. Poor quality and terrible service.
Thankful for this stores customer service, attention to detail and not to mention great food. They filled a large order for me today and were very accommodating with me to ensure I had everything taken care of. This is our favorite Tropical Smoothie to visit and we drive past several others to get to this one. All of the staff is very attentive and friendly with every customer. Keep it up you all you’re doing an awesome job!
Still no seating. The smoothies are good but the food wasn't good at all. Getting napkins from them,you'd think it was coming out of their paycheck.
Had to wait 20 minutes for one smoothie order. One employee was busy getting their smoothies & food together to take home, as they were apparently getting off work but the store was backing up...it would have been nice of them to be more considerate of their customers, versus rushing to make their food n drink to hurridly get out the store. I've worked fast food & know that when a store is backed up, u don't take the time to make your food to take home with you. All the while this employee had on their purse, strapped around their body. Not sanitary to be around food. This was Monday, April 19th, 2021 at 2:32pm to 2:52 pm. First time here & last time, also. Not coming back to this slow, inconsiderate location.
First I wanna thank Vic the manager at the Yorktown Cafe for his customer service he rendered to me when I was having a challenge using my credit card on there webpage when trying to order my food. Thank u so much. I purchased the club turkey ham sandwich and the pomegranate punch smoothie and they both were very delious. No complaints on my food and the customer service rendered to me by Vic made my experience good. So I'm giving this location 5 stars.
Ordered 3 smoothies they all tasted like a fruits whisper. The smoothies version of a la croix.
I've been going here for 3 years. The people working there know my name and have my order typed up before I hit the counter. But what is most special to me isnt their great customer service, the fun music, or even the nice prices and the fact they still let you get cookies as a a side to a meal other tropical smoothies dont. I've been to tropical smoothies up and down the east coast and the best part to me is this singular location always has me comparing everyone else to them. You will never have a better smoothie or sandwich from another location. I guarantee it. I know I wont.
I love the food and smoothies but I find them very pricey! I ordered a chicken flatbread and there wasn't much meat in it. I also don't like that you can't seem to suck up the last quarter of some of the smoothies. I also miss the Hawaiian Breeze smoothie and always have to ask especially for it since it isn't on the menu anymore.
