I have this credit union for my vehicle loan.  It's been less than a year that I've been doing business with them.  Today, Saturday at 9:00am, I decided to make my loan payment by phone, using my sister's credit card.  She owes me money and wanted to pay it back this way.  So I visited the Truity website.  Yes, they take payments by credit card.  They GOUGE us by charging an unheard of $20 fee for the courtesy.  They also have ZERO live representatives by phone or chat to help with ANY customer needs on the weekends.  They give the name of branch locations which are open (and far away from me).  But there is no phone number listed for the branches anywhere, only the main toll-free number with an auto attendant.  In this day and age, when there are so many choices for consumers and so much technology available, it's inexcusable to not provide service to customers on weekends, especially on a Saturday morning before noon.  I'm not impressed.  I love my Patelco Credit Union account.  I should have insisted the car dealership use them.

I never had issues with the normal face-to-face banking transaction and I think most if not all the cashiers are pleasant. The reason for the three stars is, I applied for a loan to buy a $9000 motorcycle with $2000 down payment and 700+ credit score. I was surprised when I was informed that I was denied, even with their so called great relation with Tyson foods and I have direct deposit. I end up paying cash for motorcycle, because I only need the loan to have auto loan on my credit score history.

I banked there for about 7 years.  It was great at first but changed over the years.  The call center customer service is non existent.  Even more alarming the Branch Manager's customer service is non existent.  Several tellers are not very pleasant.  There is one young lady in there that is amazing and the only reason I stayed so long.  It is also very convenient but just not worth it anymore.

This credit union is great. I have had an account with them for years. When I need an auto loan, everything is easy, no hassles. If I need a pre-approval for a home loan, the same: no problems. My only issue is that I live far from a branch location and two times now a deposit has been lost in the mail requiring a lot of leg work on my end to straighten it out. There has to be an easier way - I just have not figured it out yet.
