Tucker Lake Camp is truly a jewel at the edge of both the Muskokas, and Georgian Bay. It sits at one end of beautiful Tucker Lake (one of only a few Ontario lakes which doesn't allow motorboats), with an inviting beach, and a variety of water toys (like paddleboats) is provided by the park owners. The park itself is clean and well-maintained, and offers seasonal campers a friendly and welcoming place to kick back and relax. A host of activities are held throughout the season, for both kids and adults. If you just want to get back to nature, there are lots of hiking trails to explore. Canoeing and kayaking are popular, and the lake's "catch and release" fishing policy means you could catch the big one more than once! The park is easy to get to, and easy to get used to. All in all, our time there (4 years +) has been a great experience. The park owners make you feel at home, and we've made a lot of new friends over the years.

Tucker Lake Campground is a beautiful campground that is great for families! Both the seasonal campers and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The campground is on a beautiful lake that is great for swimming and the sandy shallow beach is perfect for kids. This park truly is a gem in Muskoka!

First and for most I would like to say that I have been routinely invited to this park with a friend and it is beautiful, the lake is crystal clear, with lots of of fun to be had! The park is suppose to be a "family" park. I would like to say that I spoke with the owner of this park via telephone on September 1, 2009 and expressed my interest in meeting her and her husband so that we could say that we meet prior to going on their wait list, she stated to me that she was going to be away most of the week and would return Friday eveing when I stated Saturday to be a good day, she said yes but stated that she had plans and that morning would be better suited as she had plans in the later morning, I said 9 ok and she said yes. I travelled from Barrie to Tucker on Friday September 4th, of the long weekend so that I would have plenty of time and not to be late. I spent that evening with a girlfriend who had already been in the park 5 seasons, we enjoyed a beautiful setting and a fire, besides the fact that their were people partying, at 10:50 pm prior to park curfew these folks decided that it would be ok to yell and carry on that it is 1050 pm and that they should make as much noise as possible before it was 11. On Saturday morning I procceed to have my appointment with the owner to get told that she was still in bed. I went back to my girlfriends trailer and waited an hour before going back up to see the owner. When I arrived I was greeted with a nice smile and a friendly handshake from her husband. She procceed from the upper level of her home, shook my hand and then procceed to tell me for 15 minutes that my family is NOT well suited to her park facilities because we have a large family ( 2 adult, 5 children), she did not ask the age of my children, nothing! Just stated that we would better fit a park that was louder! She based this on 1 incident that occured with my husband and my friends son in law who took 3 boys up for a weekend and had made too much noise the first night they were there and were not told any rules of the park. Once it was brought to their attention it was toned down the following 3 night they were up there. This woman verbally abused me, humilated me and belittled me infront of her husband, my friend and her family that was in the next room and heard her carrying on. I would like to say that she did however offer to keep me on her waiting list, but it could take 3-4 years before I would hear anything! She has no business tact, and I would like to say that this park would be a lovely park if the owners had better business class!
