I loved it here. You really can't beat the location. Lake stocked with trout, fishing dock, boat rentals, Bald Eagles! I heard the it was a rough place in the past but the new owners are working on cleaning it up. I stayed for a months in August of 2016 and had no problems. It is a small place but there were some large RV's there. They have a few cabin rentals too. I hope to get back there someday!

Don't waste your time! Rented a boat, it wouldn't stay running so we brought it back they cut about 20ft of fishing line out of the prop said oh it's fixed. Boats don't have any anchors so they tell you to tie off to one of the two booeys so you've just paid $50 to fish in two spots. Boat still wouldn't stay running so we brought it back again and the owner was gone. When we told his wife what was going on her response was oh. Ok. Oh and the toilets were clogged up and disgusting.

Sun Cove Resort is not a "resort." There are no employees, there is no store, no cafe, no boats, no maintenance, no nothing. Enter the trickle of a shower and bathroom at your own risk. This place is a parking lot to plug in RVs and nothing more. There are garbage cans but no garbage service, so you'll be pressed to find a place to put your garbage. The local psycho flips out every now and then so the police or medics might show up during your stay. Sun Cove Resort is scattered with unfinished construction projects, enjoy your view of piled up insulation. This place Is not a "place of business."

This place is a joke the restrooms wasn't working we went up there to visit our son and it cost us 5 dollars every second they spotted us you couldn't swim the lake was a mess in the swim hole and there were garbage every where the owners were rude I know I wouldn't go there if it was the last place on earth to camp very bad experience something needs to be done we couldn't relaxed and enjoy a beautiful day with family you won't be seeing me there ever again

Owners are very nice. Rv sites are unlevel gravel pads but work well. Water electric and sewer hooks in decent shape. Very quiet place which is nice. After hours soda vending and microwave for use.
