Tired of the gray, I decided to color my hair as I had done many times in the past using "Just For Men" but because my hair was now beyond my shoulders in length, I realized that I could no longer color it myself. As luck would have it, and due to their many positive reviews, I decided to visit Tucson College of Beauty and thankfully landed at Amanda's station. This was her first day "on the floor" but you would never know it by how she executed the task. Her demeanor was professional, confident and pleasant. She kept a rapport going throughout the entire process. The results were remarkable. One would think that she has many years experience doing hair. I am scheduled to return for a "touch-up" visit in 6 weeks and I am positive that the experience will be just as wonderful as my first visit.  Hopefully you will be as lucky as me and land at her station like I did. In fact, since she is now "on the floor", when you call in or arrive at the business, ask for Amanda and you too will be amazed!

I'm not prejudice, but if you are not paired up with a non English speaking student, don't do it.  The girl they paired me with, had to be told in translation what I did and didn't want, I showed her a picture, used google translate, and she still didn't do what I asked for, instead she should have just put a bowl on my head, I got the similar look of most teenage boys, in which I told her I didn't want to look like a boy.  I had her get the instructor, who told her she didn't do what I wanted, she comped the hair-cut.  I called back to suggest they pair bi-lingual individuals together.  Instead she defended the girl,  telling me she has been cutting hair for some time in Mexico, and graduating in 2 months.  I should have known before she started, when she had to be told, to put the paper around my neck, which is the first thing most stylist do.  So what she didn't charge me, but now I have to grow my hair look and I look like a boy, with my facial features, it only makes me look worse. Never go there!

I was able to get a same day appointment for an all over color. I was fortunate to have Lorena do it, she graduates September 2017. All the students have an instructor whom you meet from beginning to end. My hair is long and thick so naturally it took 3 hours to do. I am extremely happy with the results. Everyone at the school are professional and courteous. Lorena is such a personable young lady, you can't go wrong requesting her and I'm sure all the other students are very capable too. I look forward to return for my regrowth touch up.

The service was great, Kelsey and her instructor were knowledgeable, gave good recommendations and the service was wonderful. It was really busy but the front desk managed it well. I'll definitely be back!

The staff at Tucson were very friendly and accomadating! The school's inside was well lit and very clean.
My cosmetologist Leah was very nice,friendly,and took her time to ask how I would like my haircut to look! You could tell that she was passionate about her work and because of that, I walked out with a great style! Thanks!
