There are still some good stores and eateries here, and a nice theater. All of my photos are of the south parking structure, which is basically abandoned on the south half of the first floor, and all of levels three, four, and five. The rooftop of the structure would make an awesome place for an impromptu star-gazing (or city lights-gazing) or dance party. The lower areas would make good places for daytime naps, so long as your doors are locked. I hope someone revitalizes this mall, but I am not holding out too much hope. The trend seems to be against malls at the moment.

Ever write one of those reviews wishing the details were better so the neighborhood would thrive? This is one of those for me. 1. I've lived in Tulsa off an on since 1984. 2. This place used to be great and had all the businesses to complete with Woodland Hills. Now it just has Dillard's and JC Penney. Macy's is closing. The theater is nice and the food court has many tasty options. There's a nice gym and the District is well maintained. Lots of smaller local businesses in here. There are fewer chain stores than i remember as a child which to me is desirable. There is a small play area for kids to ride rides in the food court.

The parking structure here is known nationally for crumbling while shoppers are parked in it. The floors are uneven in the shopping area itself — "second storey" is more like stairs taking you to the 1.8, 2.1, and 2.3 storey. Macy's closed their anchor store. But there are some redeeming qualities; most stores have interesting wares for sale, with friendly associates around. Unlike most, I don't hate it enough to want to see it gone. I just want to see it better.

I'm not too sure how much longer this mall will be open. They lost a big anchor store and the rest of the shops are leaving one by one. They really needed better management to turn this place around. There are low crowds and still sub stores left, so I would say it's worth the trip for now.

This place is the epitome of Urban Mall decay, if time machines are your thing, this decaying mall will take you back to 1985. The only thing that is missing is good shopping and decent food court fair. Save yourself the trip & avoid at all costs. The place needs to be torn down. There are plenty of other shopping options in other parts of town where you don't need to carry mace.
