Turner's High Moon Bar is located in Downtown Avon on Cape Hatteras, NC.
Our atmosphere is eclectic and stylish while remaining warm and friendly. We offer 21 draft brews and 8 draft wines and an impressive cocktail list made with fresh ingredients. Since opening in June, 2014, we have attracted many of the island's very talented musicians and artists as well as bands from all over wanting to book a gig at Turner's while they are touring in the area. We are honored. We generally have live performances 5 nights a week during the summer and on Friday & Saturdays during the off season. There is plenty of room to mingle, dance and shoot a game of shuffleboard on our gorgeous 18' table. We are a bar without a kitchen which makes us a Private Club. However, working from her own kitchen, Chef Natalie Walden of the Gypsy Fish, has graced us with her presence and her food. Membership is required and annual dues are $1. Turner's is the locals' favorite gathering place and a destination that guests to the island won't want to miss. You'll have a fun time while being treated with respect and kindness. Open year round.
