If you love an adventure and history this is a must see. It is breathtaking and indescribable.  The staff is very friendly and if you haven't already you need to get a passport and stamp your parks. Great fun for the kids.

Beautiful park. Spiritual. Park staff are helpful. The monument is easy enough to navigate. You'll have navigate a small ladder to get to the top of the monument. It's the only way to appreciate the size of the structure itself.

This ancient city was populated by the Yavapai (Western Apache) tribe more than 1300 years ago.  It was resurrected in the 1930's and it is magnificent.  The stories told by the rangers it is an awesome history and innovations by incorporated the people who inhabited this city.  We were totally impressed while exploring this site in the Verde Valley.

A great stop when touring the area. Short trail to amazing ruins. Either have an America the Beautiful pass or be prepared to pay $10 a person.

Very interesting the history of the native Indian ability to thrive in a seemingly harsh environment. Due to the nature of the mud wall construction,  the restoritive process was initiated during the depression to preserve native culture. Easy wheel chair access and an easy walking adventure.
