Large wooded campsites right on the lake. Couldn't ask for more. We were able to get a better sight upon arrival with the help of the very kind gate host. Our original site had an overflowing trash can and was jammed in with some other campers. Some complain about the scarcity of bathrooms but we are fully self contained in that is not an issue for us at all. We are here during Thanksgiving although I'm not sure that I would enjoy it so much in the summer with the lake buzzing with power boats and over crowded with people.

Nice campground. Sites are large and paved. Most have water view. It is a small campground so only one bathhouse/toilet tat is a long way from the campsites. You have to drive to it. Only two showers per gender. There are two pit toilets....ugh. Nicely wooded 10 miles from Meridian.

So glad I discovered COE campgrounds! Beautiful wooded area on a large, calm lake. Waking up each morning was a treat. So peaceful then, and at sunset, other than the occasional boat going by or plane flying overhead. They only have a pit toilet, which I did not use. There is a dump station on site. It's at the top of a kinda steep drive. The internal roads are a little narrow. Close to some stores and fuel. Remote from most traffic noise depending on your site. I would come back again.
