Do NOT go here. I didn't want to even give this place 1 star. The amount of problems we had are too many to count...to name a few 1. Used cigarette on bed 2. Mouse poop on bed 3. No hot water for half of our stay 4. Kayaks had holes and were dirty 5. Dirty floors (dirty everything!!) 6. Pots & pans with mold/food still on them 7. Stained/old mattresses with holes where mice probably live 🤢 8. Musty/mold smell in some of the rooms 9. Water leaking on the floor from some of the sinks 10. Put us on the river 1 hour late 11. Our kayaks & canoes dragged like crazy!! That's just a few of the MANY problems we had. This place is a hodge podge nasty mess ran by people who have NO CLUE what they are doing!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!! If you want a miserable vacation go here. 👍

The first camp site we were given was down the hill from the restaurant. Ordinarily that would be great except for the fact that there's a band that plays in the restaurant on Friday night and there is Karaoke on Saturday night. As soon as I figured out that noise was going to be an issue we went over to the RV section of the campground. The sites are very small and crammed together. It was like camping in a muddy field. The bathrooms couldn't possibly be any smaller than they already are. I would not recommend staying here unless you like mosquitos, flies and mud. Twin Bridges has gone down hill from what it was several years ago. That's a shame because they're about the only outfitters to provide service to the upper river.

The floating part of our trip was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our RV down to stay in, the sites were not level, you had to park the RV in the mud, driveway was muddy with big holes in it which made our camper drag, grass needed mowed, shower house was just nasty didn't look like it was ever cleaned, it was basically an out house.

My family, friends, & I made the mistake of going here for our yearly camping/canoeing trip & it was absolutely terrible!!! *Warning! Long review ahead* We booked the bunkhouse for the weekend & when we got there (Friday) we found mouse turds on & in our beds, cobwebs/spiders/bugs/more mouse turds in the window sill of the rooms which butted up to one of the beds, sinks missing soap or paper towels or both in all of the rooms & in the shared bathroom, leaking sinks in the rooms & toilets in the shared bathroom, missing light bulbs/broken light fixtures, dirt/used cigarettes/bugs/leaves in the rooms, a broken (leaning) bed, uncomfortable beds, a busted up old couch in the suite, musty/moldy smell in all of the rooms that was so strong that my pillow reeks of it even now that I'm home & have changed the pillow sheet, dirty dishes & pans in the suite kitchen & no dish soap to clean them with until we requested it, wobbly cinder blocks at the base of the steps to the bunkhouse, outside light fixtures with dead bugs filling it 1 to 2 inches (which is a fire hazard), & the last outdoor light fixture by the suite was missing a bulb (but if it's anything like the fixture in room #5 then it's just gone because the fixture itself is broken). That's just an idea of what to expect at your arrival if you are considering staying here. The first day/night we were there, there wasn't any hot water in any of the bunkhouse rooms or, more importantly, in the shared bathroom. We informed the owner (who clearly didn't have good customer service, commom sense, an understanding of how to run a business or what the meaning of the word "clean" is) & he said he'd get to it when he wasn't busy which is fine (if he had actually been busy) but he never showed...even though we went back & reminded him not once, but two more times that night. So no one was able to shower or even wash their hands in warm water the first night or morning. The next day (Saturday) we got up & dropped off half our group with our own canoes/kayaks to the put-in spot of the river then the other half of our group went back to the main building to be shuttled with the rental kayaks/canoes. When we got there, we were told we had to go to the shuttling area instead of just waiting at the main building where we were (which is also where the bus had to drive by to drop us off at the river). So we started our trek to the shuttle bus. Which ended up being about a quarter mile walk on a dirt road from the main building to the "shuttling area". But to our dismay, the two canoe loaders had no clue how many to give us & were also mis-informed on what time we were supposed to leave & they had no way of reaching the main building due to no cell signal at the campground, no walkie-talkies, & no vehicle to drive back to the building (except for the bus which for some reason they wouldn't take) so one of the loaders & a couple people from our group made the trek back to the building to get things sorted out. Fast forward half an hour & we were finally shuttled to the put-in point but were now an hour late due to the owner & his staff. Our group only stopped twice to swim & eat but were forced to stop numerous times throughout the day due to 2 of the rental kayaks having holes in them which caused them to fill up with water & have to be constantly drained (otherwise capsizing & sinking would ensue) & the water levels were low so it took us longer to get through the rapids since we got stuck on rocks & had to portage frequently. Our groups float started shortly after 11am & the last bit of the group got back around 8:05pm from a 9 mile float which we were told would only take 6 hours. The last bit of the group included 5 adults (1 being a 7.5 month pregnant women) & 4 children who ended up stuck on the river in the complete dark (because the moon was not in the sky that night) for the last half hour of the float. I advise anyone reading this long winded review to avoid this place like the plague in hopes of saving you the discomfort and danger that we experienced this past weekend.

Nice to have a place to stay so close to the river. The trailer we rented called a cabin was really gross!!! Way to expensive for the way it looked/smelled
