My favorite local place. Staff is always friendly and up for a chat. Beer is cold. It's like Cheers, but with more Rory.

If you're a person of color STAY AWAY! Bartender completely left the bar for ten minutes when we sat down. It was obvious he didn't want to serve my partner and me. He was gone for exactly 12 minutes before returning and serving two other people what appeared to be their third rounds. He finally walked down to our end of the bar after I waved frantically. Rather than say hi or what can I get for you, he immediately (and rudely) says, "IDs". After seeing that we're both well over 21 he makes our drinks and they're honestly mediocre at best. We definitely won't be returning.

This is a great Irish Pub near Midway. A mix of locals and Airport, hotel and local businesses frequent the place.
It was completely gutted and remodeled in the last 10 years including an elevator to take you to the second floor Party Room. It has a full bar, 3 TV's, fireplace and additional tables made to order. 
Great atmosphere, live music many weekends. It's the law. An yes there's usually a doorman, who makes sure that All patrons are safe and drink responsibly.
I seen some of the negative reviews on here and can assure you, three IDs are required for all establishments that serve alcohol. 
As for minorities comments, today I sat with a Hispanic man, there were 2 women and a man of African decent. All were treated the same as everyone else. 
This is a Southwest Side Pub, lots of great people, city workers, etc. 
PRO was the barkeep today, very good Bloodys with a kick. This guy knows his sports and a huge Sox and Florida Gator fan.

Nice clean joint. Tap beer is always tasting fresh... That's a must For me. A little on the pricey side compared to other local bars in the area. A cop's hang out. It says three forms of ID required, but they've never asked me for 3. I think its to pick and choose who comes in. So basically keeping out the riffraff. Its pretty small place.. A few tables and chairs. Don't serve food... Nothing special about this place.

Beer only. No food except maybe for some small items. Very clean, great service. Plenty of bar space and seating.
