I just recently used U-Haul. I got a 10 foot truck with no insurance option. I traveled about 40 miles or so and only needed it for a single day. Total cost when returning it was $61. I also needed to add $10 in gas to bring the tank back up to 5/8 when i got it or they will charge you $4 a gallon if they have to refill the truck so put the gas back you used. Hope this helps on your price concerns from my experience.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They have boxes and packing supplies for sale in the store/building as well.

Truck return was easy and smooth. If Uhaul can't honor the pickup date, time, and equipment you originally reserved, they will credit you $50. I was unaware of this policy until I dropped off the truck at this location. Despite having absolutely nothing to do with this original failure of Uhaul corporate, these guys gladly gave me the $50 credit after the fact. Nobody LIKES to have to rent a truck, but I'd come back here in a heartbeat.
