My ex borrowed my truck to move all of her stuff out to Wyoming. Well, the transmission started overheating so I called a tow truck. They brought the truck here for repair. The place said all they could do was change the transmission fluid and filter and hope for the best. By the time my ex brought the truck back, the transmission was shot. Anyways, two years later, I finally found another transmission for my truck and put it in. Went to swap pans because the toasted one has a deep pan and I'd rather use it. So I take the pan off the burnt up transmission and first of all one of the bolts was cross threaded. Second, they used the WRONG FILTER for this transmission!!!! They shoved one meant for the shallow pan models into my deep pan, which it was pretty obvious it wasn't made for it since it didn't clear everything above it so when they SHOVED it in it was at an angle instead of flat!! IF I COULD SUE THE F*** OUT OF YOU GUYS FOR THIS PISS POOR JOB WHICH I BELIEVE FINISHED OFF MY TRANSMISSION, YOU BETTER F***ING BELIEVE I WOULD! Mechanics like you are the reason I NEVER trust anyone else to work on my vehicles!
