Very knowledgeable. Exceptional customer service. I believe they are the best in the Gallatin Valley. They offered me expert advice on how to fix my own brew. Don't overlook them.

Decent selection of malts and grains. You can make just about anything with what they have. They seem to have all the popular yeasts and hops but not really much stock. Sometimes hops/yeasts are all gone when you are looking for something specific. If you are looking for specialty or rare items stick to online. Equipment is on the expensive side and you are better off searching online for big ticket items or making your own. Overall it's what's available and it supplies what you need for the being the only outfit around.

Is a good place to find a local variety of equipment and grains. This was our second time driving from out of town to buy equipment. We were there to specifically look at some kettles and my wife wanted to brew her own Scottish ale. 

The guy working there was helpful and enthusiastic about Brewing but he was a little rude to my wife about converting LME to grains. Basically he had a contingency that if we bought a kettle from them he would do the conversion for her. She was a little infuriated with that fact and we didn't end up buying a kettle. I thought that showing her what she needed would have been good customer service but whatever. We will be spending our hundreds of dollars on kettle equipment elsewhere. Also was really bent on is not purchasing equipment from Northern Brewer giving a lot of insight on how bad of a company they are.

So we ended up having to buy LME since he didn't help her with the conversion. I don't have my phone with me otherwise I'd have helped her out. We probably won't be back to this place as we don't live in Bozeman. There are other brew shops in Montana that I know have better customer service.
