A fun family fair!
This years 2017 Ulster County Fair will run from Tuesday August 1st until Sunday August 6th.

Story

Admission is $15 per person and children 36 inches and under are free. This includes rides, entertainment, and parking for the day. Check on our website for vendor applications and more general information about the Ulster County Fair.

I enjoyed this, especially the pig racing. They had a lot of different animals there as well as a bunch of rides and games. The area was clean and they also had a good number of what appeared to be off-duty cops working as security. One thing to keep in mind is the parking, they direct you to park on open land and you may have to walk a ways. I'm not sure how they handle handicap issues. Finding our car on the way back out was also a bit of a challenge.

Good ribs at handsome devil. The famous ones had lines that were too long. Great variety of stalls with drink, desserts and different types of snacks. Clothes. Only drawback, a little too hot.

There was only one ride available for my 2 year old but when I was at the bracelet window and asked if it was worth getting a bracelet for my son who is under 36" she said yes! ....well none of the operators let him on anything! Even the carousel! So I wasted $15! Good thing I got there early too because once 3pm hit,traffic into the lot was a nightmare!

Great fair, a lot of animals. Great value for kids with rides and games......varied selection of foods.

Fun time, animals, rides, food, gifts, rides included with the price of a ticket which was not expensive.. Nice place,, bathrooms not so clean but hea its a fair ground
