I've had multiple salon appointments cancelled and the salon seems to have a turnover problem. Also they're very often out of items, even if their website says they have it and then you call and they say they have it. Also bring something to read because for some reason their checkout lines take forever. 
Honestly, I'd give this place one star except for the kind person who had to break the news to me that the person who was supposed to do my wedding hair had quit, but she found a wonderful stylist at the Meridian salon who did a fantastic job.

I purchased 3 things for my hair and got home noticing my deep hair repair was not in my bag. Called the store lady told me to just come back in with my receipt. Came back in lady got the manager to look at the camera on the day I purchased and then told me that in the conditioner made it in my bag and that I dropped it somewhere. This is not what happened and she knows that it didn’t make it in. Every time I’ve been in the Boise location near the mall every girl I’ve interacted with is rude and stuck up its like walking into high school . Manager looks like she’s on meth or pills each time I’ve been there too .GM needs to go in and evaluate who they’re paying to help their customers. Don’t go to Ulta near the Boise mall!!!!

The manager AMBER or I think she was a manger, accused me of stealing! She said she had me on tape......the employees would not leave my friend I alone. We were being indesisive of course and trying to find some new products. As I was walking to the register I stopped by the shape tape again to see if I wanted to get the next shade up since they didn't have Fair. And she comes up to me and says "I'm gonna need you to put the shape tape back that you took" I'm like wait what? And she says "we have you on camera" I go back and start looking and checking my stuff to make sure I somehow didn't have it on me. I didn't. Duh. So I ask her if she wants to check my stuff. She said no & was extremely rude. So I put the stuff back I was going to get, because I don't want to give a store money that accuses someone of such a serious charge! Before leaving I explained to her that I had one in my hand but I put it back because it wasn't my color. They had two light, and there are still two light over there, I thought it was uncalled for and extremely rude. We were judged from the second we were looking at dermablend. I will NEVER go in there again. I am so upset and distraught right now. Yes I had a big black purse but that's my purse I'm a mom it's also my diaper bag. I am a makeup artist as well, I love makeup I would never steal it, or take anything. Specially from a store I am in a lot. I would give this place no stars, but 1 will have to do. But warning to anyone who has a big bag/diaper bag, if you go in there because apparently your stealing.

Stylist didn't know what she was doing. She was so stumped on what color of toner she needed. She did it twice and it was still all wrong. She made me another app but no thanks. I'd rather do it myself then have her ruin it again. Also online the price was $60 for a touch up, got there and it was $144 including a cut. Way over priced.

I'm rating this location (Boise) with one star because you can't get any lower. I went in to grab an items in the drugstore section and no one was around to answer a question I had. Tried to get the attention of an associate who said hold on and never came back to help me. I found what I needed and decided to walk over to the high end concealers. As soon as I found the section I needed I was swarmed with employees hovering over me. Watching me and not letting me test the TESTERS on my own skin. How can I buy the right one if I couldn't even match the product. I decided to buy what I had and leave. the employees were rude and acted like I was going to take something. I talked to my friend who works at this location about my experience. She had nothing good to say out the managment and the employees. She informed me that I should never get anything done at this location (beauty bar or brow bar) due to the employees never cleaning there tools after each customer they help. Its highly unsanitary. I love Ult. But i hated my experiences with this store. I will just have to continue buying everything online.
