I went to Ulta twice today and both times everyone was very nice. The sales associates were very helpful, answered my questions and the associate that checked me out was very friendly. I also inquired about services in the salon and was given a 25% off coupon. Overall it was a great experience.

the right consultant makes a difference! I went in (not even 20 min ago) to get a price adjusted. because my rewards points had been used, the difference wasnt huge, but it made a difference. I originally paid using a debit (which was stolen last week) and part cash. my first cashier (Mel...) told me my only option of getting money back was by the (stolen) debit or store credit. when I asked about the cash, she shirked it off and said she gave me my options. knowing I paid cash as a portion and my receipt didn't designated which product the cash went to, I couldn't understand why she couldn't give me cash. needless to say, she became impatient and irritable with my unsatisfied reaction. I opted to keep my item as purchased and i left upset. I love ULTA, and I haven't had a negative experience at this location yet; I've been coming to this location for 5+ years. I'm on my way out, and Raheel saw me upset over my encounter, and asked what was wrong and offered her help. Like magic, she gave me my change! though the amount was small, she made a HUGE impact on me. I'll be back and will specifically ask for her going forward. she has a can do attitude, and is perfect for the cranky holidays. Thank you, Raheel!

I always go to Ulta to buy the Clinique products, the sales associate, Hanan has been so helpful! I finally found someone that was able to match the Clinique foundation with my skin tone. My complexion glows now! The Acne line that she matched me with as well, has done wonders for my skin! I always go to her if I need recommendations concerning my facial regimen.

Why be a rewards member when they never have the free gifts and they never tell you when you have points or if you want to redeem points. They are very rude and snooty. I would never shop at Ulta if I could find the things I needed somewhere else.

I've been to this Ulta several times since I moved to VA. I will advise not to rely on the customer service of this store, the employees and even visiting product reps are very selective about who they will greet or help. I've noticed they only seem to lick the back passage of a particular looking customer. If you run an employee down they either act perplexed or annoyed. I treat them with the same manorism they provide me and that's no eye contact, interaction and I just want the employee to roboticly ring up my items so that I can leave the disgusting energy that the store invokes. Yes, I can go drive out of my way and go to Sephora or other stores but I only go to this store to restock my go-to cosmetics because they tend to have a surplus (I think this is because customer's tend not to shop here much). I always try to make sure if there is a free item that goes with my purchase that I ask the cashier because they act really stingy with something that is a free gift with purchase. I guess they keep them to use for personal use and if so it's not helping. If you are going here looking for an MUA here don't do it because most look a hot mess. All in all if you can get past my fustration and pettiness comments you'll see that this Ulta is just another place to spend money at a less traffic heavy store.
