Went to the salon today. Told the hairstylist that I wanted highlights and low lights. With twice as much blonde as brown. After the fools came out I asked why it was so brown, and I was told it was just because it was wet. So after it was dry I said again that this is just the opposite of what I wanted and way to brown. I was then told it must have been the glaze that he put on and it will wash out. 
Styling I asked him to please use the straightener and he did not. 

Will not be back. Paid a lot of money to not get even close to what I wanted. Now I am going to have to go elsewhere and pay more money to have it fixed.

I went to get my makeup done there for prom yesterday. And they completely ruined my night, caused so much stress on me I cried the most I have in a long time. One girl that did my makeup messed everything up. The eye liner was half of my eye lip and it wasn't a straight line or even near that. The fake lashes stuck to my eyes and burned so bad. My foundation literally looked grey. She didn't even put the contour and highlight in the right place. I started crying because it looked so bad and she didn't know how to fix it, she asked for help and they all looked at me and I could see in their eyes it looked as bad as I thought. 
So an older lady tried to do my makeup. And she did a much better job, but it was for prom, she did it more like everyday makeup and it looked so natural. I had on my skin color eye liner. No highlight or any contour or highlight. So I literally had to buy black eye liner there and put it on in the car. By then, my appointment was at 1pm and it was near 5. I had to leave with my makeup not good or done and go get my hair done, then come back. 
I started crying again because I missed prom pictures and dinner with my friends. So I was heartbroken, and got even more upset. 
They gave me free of charge to get my makeup done (but I had to go home and RE DO all of my makeup I  10 minutes) and a 20% off my next purchase, they promised some free samples but I never received them at all. 
Never going back for makeup or probably anything sadly, my prom was completely ruined and I'm so upset. They helped the best they could, but I suggest they work on classes for their makeup "artists" 
Having the makeup remover they promised as a free sample would have been great but guess my problem didn't mean much to them, and the mascara booster they also promised wasn't given to me.

My friend and I went in this morning. We were not greeted when we entered. I didn't let this bother me because the workers were stocking and working. We walk around the store for quite some time and still no greeting or anything! I then walk over to where they are working and and talking to each other and not one said a thing! After that we just walked out.  Awful customer service. We were from out of town and that Ulta was amazing and so clean,  but the customer service SUCKED! I know one of the 3 ladies was the manager because she was telling the others what to do.

I have never been before to Ulta and went for the first time to buy some makeup for my little sister, when checking out they asked if i had a rewards membership with them. I did not, so they asked if i wanted one and i said yes. Then they asked me for my birthday and i gave it too them, and they said since it is so close too your birthday we will give you your birthday reward early. I though wow first time and something already free, paid the bill and left. I gave the price to my little sister and she thought it was too high and that is when we noticed they charged me for my birthday gift. Going to return everything i purchased tomorrow and will never shop there again.

I can't speak for all the make up artists, but the lady I got to do my wedding make up practice had no absolutely experience with make up in my opinion. It was absolutely horrid. She had no idea how to apply eyeshadow or eyeliner, though she was kind. I would not recommend getting your make up done here. Especially for big events.
