I would give 1 star based on 2nd experience and 5 stars on my 1st  My first experience at Ulta was lovely, but I went back today in the afternoon, the manager, Carol, could care less about customers ,her employees and didn't know anything about the daily and weekly specials or just about anything else.  I  said I was looking for a lip stain as I was going to a wedding and she did tell me about a brand, but I tracked her down and said the colors were too bright so as she was walking away she said matte lipsticks usually last 
I was on my own, with no guidance. I found something after about 45 min, using testers and disposables at the tables several times. At the counter, I asked about the daily and weekly specials, the cashier was obviously new and, and asked Carol if she knew.  Carol looked at the display calendar and was at a loss for words, saying she really didn't know Ok, so I'll just pay and leave. Carol was more interested in pricing items with her back to us, than helping an obviously new cashier with a new experience about checking my balance.it seemed that Carol thought I would have to wait until I got a card in the mail before I could purchase the items I had just spent an hour finding. It was a very ackward  situation for the new employee, trying to answer the questions that her manager should have known and happily explained. I am in the service industry and this is common sense. 
During my first visit an employee helped me with applying a color match for a concealer until we found the right one and didn't pressure me to buy the powder when I said I had one. The morning manager was very cheerful and helpful and the cashier was also helpful with my credit application 
What a difference sorry to say

All in one beauty store. Was able to get most of the beauty products I was shopping for at one place. Similar to sephora on a smaller scale.

Went to this location on 12 Aug 2014 8:20pm. 

I am a regular Ulta customer but for the first time i received the worst of the worst customer service experience anywhere. The women at the counter was not only racist but also extremely rude. She kept of chewing her gum which talk in the annoying voice of her on top of showing attitude.

Thing which really upset me was that she was looking and talking to me and my wife in a whole different tone compared to other folks and mumbling words behind our back. Awwful awwful customer service standard adopted by this particular locaiton management.

I just wanted to thank your hairdresser Margarita who works the Ulta in Natick for doing such a phenominal job on my hair!! She is an extremely talented hairdresser. In addition She always maintains a high level of professionalism&customer service and I HIGHLY recommend her! I can guarantee if she does your hair you will leave completely satisfied! I have long medium to dark brown hair & she does a color,highlights,cut&blow dry&it comes out perfect every time!! Also very reasonably priced for the services. Ulta you did an awesome job hiring her onto your team!!!
