I was brought by ambulance at 9:00 p.m. I was taken care of right away by a wonderful caring nurse. They had many patients and it took awhile before the doctor could see me. Everyone was so caring and skilled at their jobs. The men on the ambulance were excellent. Thank-you

NEVER SEND ANY LOVED ONE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES TO THIS HOSPITAL. My brother admitted himself to the hospital 3 days ago because of suicidal thoughts and thoughts of harming other loved ones. The nurses and security guards there are restraint happy! The restrained him for refusing to take his vitals, restrained him for arguing with my father (nothing physical) and restrained him because he didn’t want to wear those paper pants they give you because they ripped them apart each time the bum rushed him! All in one day, day 3! Each time they drugged him not once but twice because the boy was scared and helpless against it and tried to fight it. They sat him in a room with a plexi glass tv and didn’t let him out for the first 2 days til he went stir crazy and his illness started acting up! Meanwhile 3 or more staff sitting outside his door speaking ever so loudly about their personal life while my brother is tied down and drugged up. I even witness a woman nurse smile while they finished strapping him in when I was standing in the hall. It’s not funny! He went in willing to get help and came out worse than he originally was and he wasn’t willing to get help anymore! HE WANTED HELP! Scratches cover his chest and face, blood on his hands from a bloody nose he must have got when the green eyed Asian chick told me to get the hell out when they were bum rushing my brother for changing his pants. They are not mental health doctors and had no right to handle him like that! He was not harming anyone or himself at the times he was restrained, Trust I took photos of his ripped hoodie, blood hands, scratched face and some sort of rash developed on his cheeks, he was over drugged and throwing up through the night. Once he would wake up, they would find the next chance to do it again. It wasn’t only him they seemed to be rough with, other screams came from rooms while staff acted like it was a joke counting down their shifts. Another nurse on the watch shift also made a very rude comment about how he is spoilt because we had brought him proper blankets, pillows, and snacks, and anybody who has been to the ER knows how uncomfortable it can be. We love him. 5 men on one 14 year old boy. Now my brother is in an institution and my parents parental rights were taken because they see him as a danger. He wanted help and cooperated in the beginning but then they began treating him like a criminal and he retaliated, not physically but he did get pretty nasty verbal wise. But absolutely un professional! And for those wondering, state police told us we had to bring him to the ER before getting evaluated for help. What a mistake. My soul is crushed and my brother will forever have a memory of being abused and restrained for seeking help. This is what is wrong with today’s kids. Nobody is willing to truly help when it comes down to it. They are all “spoiled”. This was a rough time for my family and I. We never had to go through this but we were reassured by proper mental health workers that he may have been abused once we voiced our concerns. Shame on you! Please never send anyone with mental health issues to these savages.

Incredible staff and service. My fiancé does not like hospitals or needles. The doctors and nurses put him so at ease that he was laughing and enjoying their conversation while they worked on him.

Though I haven't been here personally Ive heard enough to suggest that no one should ever send ANYBODY here! The nurse, who was taking care of my uncle who just got out of surgery and was on the road to recovery, unhooked him from his machines and left the room while he was washing up instead of being by his side and with him. Because of this, he ended up falling, hitting his head on the sink, and sadly passing away from the fall and hit. If that nurse had done their job right and been in there with him like they were supposed to, my uncle would still be here! Very poor care! My uncle did not deserve this! May he rest in peace
