I’ve never had a problem at this office, I’ve always been able to make appointments and schedule with the Doctor I request. Dr Diva is absolutely wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable, understanding and patient. She has the best bedside manner I’ve seen from a doctor in a longggggg time.
I love this clinic the same staff that took care of me as a child. Are still working here like Ms. Pat. she’s wonderful with kids, i remember her from when the clinic was on Paca street. Also Dr. Carter is amazing at what she does she stays on top of everything. Also Ms Edna is also pleasant and very attentive. Which all the staff are very helpful and very caring they make my kids feel welcome every time we visit. Only thing I dis like is the phone service it’s very hard to get through over the phone but other then that I love this place
If I couldn't give this establishment a negative star I would. The only reason why I give it one star is because the CNAs/RNs are always friendly and amazing to my daughter and grandson. My grandson has been attending this clinic from birth. His mom is a teenage mom so she's not very knowledgeable on proper clinic etiquette. I started attending her appointments with her because I knew how people would stereotype young mothers and boy was I right unfortunately. When my grandson was around 6 months, he would pull on his ear alot. At every appointment I would bring this issue up to his pediatrician. She would always say, Oh that's normal. Keep in mind we would see her every three months. So from 6 months too his first birthday he was having these ear problems. At his 9 month check up, she said she saw ear wax and she was going to send some drops to the pharmacy. She never sent them. She treated my daughter and grandson like they were a brush off. Let me tell you what I think you need to hear and send you on your way. Ohhhh but it gets better. Let me put this disclaimer out here, nobody is pressed to bash or down talk about establishments that many people care for. If the offense was not created by the ignorant actions of physicians who are charged to provide medical treatment to all without discrimination attached, we would not be having this conversation. So right before his first birthday, my grandson started running a fever. My daughter took him to University of Maryland ER and to their discovery he had a double ear infection in both ears. The ears that his pediatrician said were fine at his last visit. Now we have to get his hearing check. It's no telling how long he had this ear infection. Neglect, neglect, neglect. Oh but it gets better. So my daughter took my grandson back for a follow up against my wishes. This clinic does not have the best interest for my family. So she requested a new doctor because she was furious at the last one for not catching my grandson ear infection. So the new doctor was even worse. She didn't know I was on FaceTime with my daughter. So she come in all aggressive saying "So hes here for a follow up for his ear infection. Let me look" My grandson started squirming and she said " Boy we are not doing that. Hold on to your mother BOY" Now keep in mind my daughter was being respectful the whole time. He's a baby, but the way vocalized BOY rubbed me the wrong way. Again another teenage mom trying to do what's right for her child only to be stereotyped by an outdated physician who chose to work in a predominatly black clinic just to low key throw racial slurs. Now that is ludicrous. Oh it gets better so my daughter was asking if it was too early to get him tested for allergies. So the doctor began to ask her did she have animals in the home. She said no. Then the doctor says do you have roaches or mics. My daughter said nom The she goes to say again "Are you sure you don't have roaches or mice. Those things are nasty" If she told you the first time no why would you keep asking her. Stereotype. First it was the "Boy" remark now it's the roaches and mice remark. Then she asked her where did she work at for how many hours. My daughter said she worked for 10 hours. The doctor said "That's why your eyes are so baggy. When do you have time for your son?" Excuse me. So she looked in my grandson ear again and said she still seen some swelling but gave him nothing for it. Then my daughter asked me a question after being interrogated by the roaches and mice doctor. My daughter said the moment she called my name the doctor shocked because she didn't know I was on the phone. I guess the doctor realized she has witness other than nurse who will most likely vouch for her.With my own ears I heard her say "We will revisit those questions later" Why revisit them later? You were so bold when you thought it was just my daughter by herself. I love the fact that people think we are uneducated because of the color of our skin. Evil never prospers. I will never return to this clinic.
I am literally still on hold as I type this review, so far it's been 1hr 2 mins I called at 8:26, someone finally answered at 9:40 .This is ridiculous and getting redundant. Everytime I call I'm on hold for 40 mins, 45 mins and I even made it to 1 hr a few times like right now. I take screenshots because it should NEVER take that long. Even when I am there in person, I never hear the phones ringing. I love, love, love Midtown . My girls have been going there since they were toddlers 2 are teens now and they were located on Lee St. I love my kids pediatrician and the ones before her
I absolutely hate this clinic. The receptionist always have nasty attitudes and You can never make a appointment because calls never get answered. Ive waited hours on the phone to be just hung up on. For this reason ill be taking my kids somewhere anywhere else.
Every time I call, they never answer the phone. I've been trying to get my daughter scheduled for her 3 year check-up for 2 months. I tried thru the 5, and they never contacted me to make sure those were good days. They just scheduled. I never got a notification about it being set, so I missed it. What's going on? Do I need to find medical somewhere else? This is pitiful.
I have been calling for SEVERAL weeks to make my son’s annual appt and no one ever answers the phone. When reading other reviews I saw there was an advocacy number and called them. The man that I spoke with said that he would pass my information along and have someone call me back. I asked him how would that work on an occasion that he has an appt and I need to reschedule or speak to someone in regards to his care and he informed me that I would have to call his number back to pass it along. This seems a bit inconvenient and unproductive for a parent. Will possibly be looking for a new pediatrician soon. I should not have to go through hoops to schedule an appt or speak with a provider.
My daughters LOVE this doctors office!!! My 7 yr old loves that she gets books EVERY visit. She feels so comfortable that she tells the doctor's everything that goes on with her. My 2 yr old just loves the fact that she can run and the staff plays with her I love them because no matter what they ALWAYS remember who we are!
Service is horrible here over the passed year. I dropped school forms off to be filled out 3 weeks ago. When I picked them up they weren’t even filled out correctly. The wait is also extremely ridiculous. Will no longer be attending this practice. I’ll be taking my child to a much more sufficient practice.
