If you leave this place hungry you have issues!!
True family style Italian eatery with table plates as apps, greens and beans and tomato salad and bread and a pasta course. 
Entrees are from everything from steak to pasta, a true chop house. 
Always busy and always good. Priced just right with friendly service. 
If your looking for good Italian with a twist of seafood and steak this place is a must.

We've been to Myrtle beach for 30 years and specifically Barefoot Landing. Each time we always walked by Umbertos and never ate there. They always were packed and looked like everyone sitting down was enjoying their food. So, The last time we were in Myrtle beach we decided to make a reservation. They only had a 8pm slot. I really thought that late of a sitting would mean bad service and poor food. Boy were we surprised. The food was awesome and the service was great! I could tell that all the workers were working as a team and our servers was spot on. We've been to a lot of Italian restaurants and the pasta and sauce is hit or miss. This was definitely a hit. IMHO, the price was very high, but we had enough food to take out and have lunch for 4 the next day. Italian food is always better the next day for some reason!

Went there twice during our vacation.  The second time with a group of 23 adults.  Each time the service was great and fast.   Food was delicious.   Try the chicken piccata, it's terrific.  We were hesitant to try it because it's hard to beat Italian food served in NY/NJ area but we are so glad we tried it.

Great food. We were.surprised with the premeal dishes and they were fabulous. Main meal was great and lots to take home for leftovers. Our waiter Al was awesome and so friendly. Very family friendly environment.

Delicious. Stopped by here on a whim just walking around Barefoot Landing. Glad we did. The white bean appetizer was absolutely superb. Also the cucumber and tomato salad and angel hair pasta prior to the meal was great. All of those three are free too which is the best part, as long as you order an entree of course. Didn't have much room left for the meal itself so took most if it home. The cuts of meat here are 2 inches thick!!
