I left 2 pairs of shoes (1 black and 1 brown - both leather top, inside and sole italian style). 2 pairs needed to have the heel changed and one pair needed the soles replaced as I even had a hole. So they were not in good conditions. I really wish I could show you how they were and how I got them back. The price was quite high but for less than $150, I got them back with new soles, polished and really repaired. In other words I got 2 almost brand new pairs, so it was totally worth the price.

My whole family has been going to Union Shoe Service on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union NJ for many years and it’s always a great experience. The customer service is excellent and the quality of work is phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable and I’m always left with long lasting repairs. I’ve recommended my friends to get their shoes repaired with Union Shoe Service and every single time they’ve all come back to me with nothing but praise. Thank you Union Shoe Service for saving me a ton of money and time and being able to enjoy my things for a long time.

My dog chewed my very expensive Gucci shoes. I have been to three other shoe repairs that claimed the damage was irreversible and the shoes could not be fixed. A friend recommended going to Union Shoe Service on Stuyvesant Ave. Not only did the owner promise me he could repair my shoes, but he was extremely nice and the price of the repair was very reasonable. When I came back to pick up my shoes, I was amazed at what a good job he did. My shoes looked brand new. This is one happy customer that will return again and again!

I had a pair of grey Hugo Boss leather shoes that needed some polish. I usually go to the place in the city on 23rd street, however, I did not have time to run to the city so I used the google search engine to locate a cobbler in the area - I ended up at the Union Shoe Service. The gentleman asked me for 30 minutes and said it would not be a problem to match the grey. After I came back I saw my shoes TOTALLY ruined. They were discolored and yellowish - almost as if someone used too much force while polishing. I advised the cobbler that I will not pay for the service because they destroyed my $400 pair of shoes. Immediately after I started to hear the F-bombs coming down (ex. DO NOT COME BACK HERE BECAUSE I WILL REMEMBER YOUR F***ING FACE). No one said they were sorry, no one offered to take a look at the shoe again, instead I received a few curse words and I walked out of the store. DO NOT GO THERE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very unprofessional! This is definitely the LAST time I used their services.
