Amble parking for Union Station. A bit higher priced than suburbs, but it is DC. Easy to figure out where you are going, bus terminal or train station.

Convenient parking location 
I went there 3-4 times to pickup and drop off friends taking the bus to NY. 
Although I have never parked there, I have the convenience of waiting in the kiss-n-ride area for pickup/drop off.

The parking building looks new and it is actually connected with the Station in front. Escalators and elevator work fine. The public guest parking is on the 4th floor. I parked here for 10 hours and it cost me $20. Totally acceptable in the area considering how close it is to the attractions. Sure DC parking is hard and street parking is limited to 2 to 3 hours so save the headache and park here. However over 2 hours to 12 hours is the same price ($20). So park 2 to 3 hours may not be advantageous
