The Phoenix UU has a beautiful 65 year old sanctuary which needs a lot of updates which will begin happening in about 6 months. Everything from new a/c to new entrants.
I attend for the very liberal book club, for Spanish lessons, and for sermons that include Native American to Buddhist ideas to economics.

As a proud satanist, this church's belief system pisses me off, but on Sunday I went and the donuts that they had after mass were off the hook. 3 stars.

False religion from the minds of carnal men. A "seemeth right" way.

Being new to the experience of the UU Congregation of Phoenix for a few months now, I have felt welcome always by the genuinely friendly people and ministerial staff. The intelligently prepared services, each one surprisingly different in approach, are a draw and fulfilling of the mind and spirit. The music director thoughtfully prepares each service, bringing out the many talents within the volunteer musicians and singers. The musical presentations have been outstanding, each one reaching out and touching a note within each in the congregation. Do come and experience tradition and something new and unique each time.
