This afternoon, 29 September around 1230, I went over to the Post Office to mail two items.  I was greeted by one of the happiest ladies with one of the most genuine smiles I have seen in a long time.  I am always, usually, in a good mood but she made my happiness compound.   Truly a professional postal employee that deserves praise.  I didn't have my reading glasses so i couldn't see her name tag.  However, if anyone uses this post office I hope you have the same experience as I did.

Friendliest post office staff around. I went here to mail my wedding invites. The woman who works here helped me figure out the correct postage, and gave me a few options on the best way to mail the invites. 

Once I stamped the invites, I brought them back, and the staff person let me hand-cancel the postage. This looks much nicer and, most importantly, made sure the invites weren't damaged by being run through a machine. 

Note--this is in the Ford House Office Building. You need to go through security to get in, but you do not need any type of government or military ID.

Very nice staff but they need to change the opening tie is 9:00 not 8:00...

Going through the Ford building security and wandering the halls to find this post office is totally worth the effort. The nicest, most knowledgeable and helpful employees work at this post office. I go out of my way to use this post office because the lines are short, they always have the supplies I need, and they are just so friendly!
