We asked for a 3 week hold on our mail while we were away over the 2017 holiday. The post office, instead, marked our residence as "vacated" and they returned all our mail to senders. Did the staff person at the post office apologize or offer any help? No. He reluctantly gave me the name of his supervisor and acted as if this happened all the time. Unbelievable!

No joke about the half hour of menus and horrific hold times... thats at the 800 number. The direct number also has a lengthy menu system but then transfers to a disconnection. It's almost like nobody there wants to work. So far I'm at five calls with no human interaction. "Please stay on the line while your call is transferred to the operator." Average wait time before being disconnected is 10 minutes. Then the whole process starts again. 

The issue I'm calling about is that I consistently get mail that doesn't belong to me. If it's within a few houses, or even a street or two over, I'll just walk it to the house and drop it in their box. I think most of us do that in our neighborhood. But when it's someone using my address as their personal mailbox, who was evicted, as is the case I'm calling for... it is infuriating. 

I have CLEARLY used a stamp to indicate "RETURN TO SENDER," only to find the same mail, with the stamp ignored, IN MY BOX the next day. 

I expect retaliation for complaining as that's what happened the last time I complained. This is the absolute worst postal service in my entire life experience.

For the second time in just over a year, a substitute carrier on my route has deliberately damaged a package clearly marked "DO NOT BEND" by folding it in half and stuffing it in my slot of my community mailbox.  My regular carrier never has a problem walking this recurring item to my front door...takes about 30 seconds to do.  This is unacceptable and unprofessional service!  I think the person doing this is just too lazy to care.

Put in an address change over a month in advance. They have been forwarding junk mail left and right. But my valuable package was sent to oblivion.  It' a 50 minute wait time to speak to a human. That's after a half hour of various menu selections. No wonder the post office can't make a profit! Terrible service!

Always staff are really helpful and friendly and try to help customers as fast as they can, but there might be a line as their resources are limited. Even if the line was longer I'd still give 5 stars for the staffs.
