Zero stars is not an option unfortunately. There are STILL thieves working at the Allen Park sort facility. Some have already been caught, but clearly not all. Multiple packages of mine have gone missing since Jan 10, 2018 once they reach this facility. They are scanned in then never seen again. The usps needs to install cameras in every facility. I will be filing a report to all police in that jurisdiction. I WANT MY MAIL!!

The two ladies that were working at the counter this afternoon were both very helpful, patient, and kind. They had helpful suggestions and were both pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend this post office to anyone in the area!!

Nobody answers the phone after calling many times to inquire about a package. It was suppose to be a 2 day express delivery. I needed this package for a customer of mine and that’s why we paid extra for express! It is days past from when we first inquired and still no answer. We spend 10’s of thousands of dollars a year with the USPS for our online business and am looking to switch our package delivery service. This place is a joke and has probably cost us a customer! Thank you USPS and farewell!

I believe this post office is ran by Charlie day. There's no Pepe Silvia? You've gotta be kidding me. If something you order on the internet comes through the Allen Park post office, you should always cross your fingers and hope they don't wait the full 8 days to process it (which they will do if you call and ask about your package). If you complain they will hold your mail hostage. I've gone into this nightmare zone several times, only to be told that I'll be waiting "the full 8 days allowed for processing". The staff is rude. It's darker than an Irish pub inside and I'm positive they have the lights dimmed to not upset their hangovers. One time I went to grab a package and a lady was doing her nails. EDIT: I'd like to add on to this post by stating that after I called and complained, and made a formal complaint I was told "good luck with your mail" and since then all of my incoming and outgoing mail has been delayed.

Every time one of my packages goes through Allen Park post office it sits there for 5 days before being accepted and shipped on its way. I've currently been waiting on a "2-5 day delivery" shipment for 10 days (5 days at Allen Park). I live an hour away from Allen Park. I could have driven to Ohio and picked it up myself and had it a week ago. The incompetence is astounding with this place.
