I drop off packages here daily.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  They do quite a bit of volume and seem to keep the line to 3-5 ppl or less.  USPS on the whole does have issues, but this location runs well!  Much better and more reliable service here than UPS or FedEx in Chattanooga...basically the opposite of what I would expect.

The problem is in home delivery. The last 2 days the mail in my mailbox is that of the next door neighbor. The person delivering either isn't reading the address or doesn't care .How many can be screwed up?

The only post office I can get to answer the phone. Not to mention the staff is always helpful and friendly in Hixson.

Had a horrible experience here! It was awhile ago but my displeasure is so great that I have to write a review. I was accompanying my mother who was trying to ship some important artwork to Spain. We are very new to this so we were told by the post in Spain that we would need some sort of stamp or seal to have the artwork shipped properly. The wait was fine and we were able to get everything we needed as far as boxes and envelopes go at the side counter. When it came time for us to be waited on at the front desk an employee named Wesely attended to us. He was very much uninterested in helping us, did not greet us or ask how he could assist us when we got to the counter, was very rude and interrupted my mother several times. We were trying to ask him if we could get a stamp or seal of some kind and he just kept interrupting my mother with "I don't know what you are talking about, it sounds made up", finally after trying to explain to him the situation and trying to get some kind of stamp he just kept sighing and had the worst, childish attitude I have ever seen from a grown man. At this point we were very upset with this terrible employee and we told him that his customer service skills were needing improvement, he then replied, " well you don't have to come here". My mother was livid! I had to help calm her down before things got nasty. We requested to speak with the manager and told him about our horrible experience. The manager did say he would handle it but we felt that we should have at least gotten an apology from Wesely. We will not be back, we will take our business elsewhere from now on! As for Wesely the rude employee, he seriously should be reprimanded for his actions and perhaps find a different place of employment, because customer service is not his thing.
