Looking back I wish I had read all these reviews before getting my P.O box here. My experience with this post office has been nothing but headaches and frustration. This post office provides worse experiences then the DMV. Rarely does mail arrive on time or even arrive. I've had properly marked packages returned after being held for weeks. I've waited over a month to receive some packages. This post office is incompetent and the staff seem to take pride and joy to drag their feet. I wouldn't consider my self unreasonable or rude yet the people working the counter never fail to seem annoyed that I would like my mail.

I retired from this stinking Jackson hell hole. Blame the overworked, understaffed, underpaid employees less and USPS management more. USPS management prides themselves on being lazy & tolerant of corruption.

Good luck getting your mail, if you have the option send everything ups or fedex.

The service can be a real struggle but there currently is a man who works at the counter regularly and he is incredibly cheerful and helpful.

Doesn't deliver, so you have to pick everything up at your PO box. Regularly lose packages, or check them "in," yet they're nowhere to be seen. Regularly leave slips in your box saying you have a package, then when you try to pick it up, they say nothing is there. I've heard one gal tell a customer she didn't have time to help him. REALLY??
