i dont get the bad reviews. I love this place because people here know how to do their jobs. I guess people expect 4-star hotel service and smiles all around when picking up a package.

Hit or miss depending on who you get. The last that was very slow I don't think is around anymore. The other lady is and she is fast but sometimes too fast and results in error. I needed tracking once and I didn't get it. Tried to make sure but she just wanted to get to the next thing. Surprise, the package left without tracking. Ok the other had, the young guy is the best postal employee in any store I have seen. Knowledgeable, helpful and fast.

Every time I attempt to send a parcel at this post office, there is only one clerk, despite there often being a lineup of 10+ customers. There is never a second cashier and customers frequently get upset and disgruntled. I have begun avoiding this location for this reason. It's not fair to overwork a single staff member like this, nor is it fair to make customers wait for 30+ minutes standing in line. I have witnessed disabled customers at this location needing to leave because there is no place to sit and standing for so long isn't possible for them.I really wish I could use this post office reliably as it is the closest to me, but instead I now have to walk to a location further away.

Rude, slow unhelpful. Hands-down worst customer service at a Vancouver post office. I requested my parcels be sent to a different canada post location because of how awful the woman behind that counter is everytime I have been there.  Avoid!

They have always been easy and kind to deal with. I don't blame the employees for the lineup, post just takes times. I'm happy with the service I receive here.

As dusk faded to blackness Queenie’s dull eyes studied the pile of documentation I had brought for her. I held my breath. The journey to this coveted position at the front counter had been too long, too arduous for my request to be denied. I had done my due diligence and prepared myself for just this eventuality. Equipped with enough paperwork to grant me residence in the United States for a month, I prayed to a god that almost certainly did not exist: “Please let this work. Please make the last twenty-five minutes worth my while. Please let me leave this place with a parcel in my hands.”  It was not to be. “We cannot do it,” sputtered Queenie. Some piece of the puzzle was missing. Lacking the capacity and patience to try and figure out exactly which piece it was, or explain why it wasn’t even a piece to my puzzle, I decided to pull the plug on the interaction. At Canada Post West 4th, it’s better to end conversation mercifully instead of stalling for another fifteen minutes. The line was only getting longer anyhow.  “Okay there’s nothing I can do then!” I exclaimed brightly, snatching my passport and notarized letter back from the befuddled Queenie. Once again, I had burned half an hour I did not have, trying to dance around the Princess of Homeland Security, just to get a box that belonged to me. At least I didn’t have to wait for the odyssey that would have ensued if she’d been obliged to find my package in the back room.

Canada Post is typically slow. This is the slowest post office I have ever been to. Rarely more than one staff, I feel pretty bad for her being stuck on her own all the time. I have been the 4th person in line and waited almost half an hour. Today I was the 10th in line. It's been over 20 minutes and I'm up to 7th. Wish me luck! And avoid this post office if you value your sanity. I assume I will be here an hour or more total.

Just a sigle sloth working behind the counter.. be prepared for a lengthy wait even if you’re the only customer. The sloth is nice though.

Can be busy during rush hours but with the whole situation of Canada Post undergoing times of financial turmoil, I can understand why the government puts what it does into mail system. Employees are always trying their hardest to make sure your package gets in your hands.

I don't normally write reviews but because this experience is TERRIBLE EVERY TIME, i had to leave one. It is always the same thing with the same lady that every review seems to be mentioning! She is VERY RUDE. Canada Post, I don't understand why you are still employing her.
