Clerk provided insufficient information about the passport service over the phone. Resulted in invaluable time away from family over Thanksgiving break. Regardless of how far ahead you plan, it’s impossible to avoid the poor service of this USPS

I had all of my paperwork gathered and prepared for a passport renewal, according to the government website. When I sign in at the Post Office there is a sheet that says "must have all of your paperwork before they will see you, and they only accept CHECK OR MONEY ORDER". Well, that would have been excellent information to post on the website because most people do not carry checks in their wallet or purse. The downtown Fort Worth location accepts cards, cash and check. This is very frustrating because I came prepared (even made front/back copy of my drivers license), and had a one year old daughter i brought. Total waste of our time to drive home for my check book that hasn't been used in a year ! Please, post the requirements online for people to make the process more smooth and convenient !!!!! Please.

Horrible customer service.  I was told on the phone that as long as I was in line by closing time they would be able to process a passport.  I took off work early so I could make it and get a passport for my daughter.  I was waiting my turn in the office by 4pm (passport office closed at 4:30).  Just before 4:30 I was told they could not see me because the people they were processing would take them past 4:30.

Solid local post office. Not too much of a line and staff is helpful.

The staff is very helpful. This is one of my favorite post office's to go to.
