Stopped by to look at boots. Looked around at selection. Approached the older gent there and said “i have a few questions if you got the time”. He replied, “what do you need I don’t have much.” Okay I said. I asked my question and got a “I don’t carry any of those”. He made me feel like I was a bother to him with his snappy answer and attitude. Did not make any suggestions of other boots that he does carry or the possibility of ordering. If you want rude and no help come here!

Carl is the real deal. I've had contact with this store for over 60 years, 1st.with Carl's Dad, then Carl. Always friendly, always top quality work. The best shoes, the best repair.

This guy really knows his stuff. I've been going here for about ten years and I've always walked out with a good quality boot for a good price. .

I have been a customer of this store for years. The owner knows his business and carries high quality products. He takes the time to explain the differences between shoes and does not push products that a person does not need. Great store and great customer service!!!

Always have had a good experience at Unity. Carl has always been very helpful and insightful. If he didn't have what I wanted he ordered it no problem. I have also had several pairs of Thorogood boots resoled by Carl and I was very happy with the work and timely manner.
