Since 1986, Universal Roofing & Exteriors has been Central Indiana's best home improvement contractor, specializing in roofing (roof repair and roof replacements), siding installations, new windows and doors, gutters and drywall and painting. I am the Maintenance Coordinator at an Indianapolis Church and School. My experience with Universal today, specifically John Frey, was exceptional.
Mr. Frey was more concerned about our situation, and getting us the best solutions to our problems, than on our budget or trying to sell a job.
They have Proffessionally marked vehicles, clean appearance and in Company uniform.
I can’t say enough about his honesty and proffessionalism. Even if we don’t use this company for this job, I will have no problem referring him for other commercial or residential estimates.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in my brief experience with Universal. I live in West Carmel. Our neighborhood was impacted by a hail storm in late April, so the roofing business has been very busy ever since.  I got a couple of estimates from less known companies but I wanted to try Universal since I heard very good things from my neighbors.  I've been following up to get an estimate from them without success.  My guess is that they are too busy and don't want my business.  Where they drop the ball is when they do not call to even say "sorry, this is taking longer than expected". Or anything else.  They say the first impression last long... well, this one wasn't a good one.

Rob came out to  home when we had a leak coming from the sky lights ,they provided excellent service.  I I now feel confident refering Universal Roofing to my clients...

They did a great job installing the roof. Very professional and knowledgeable. The biggest value given to me was helping fight the insurance co. That was trying to get out of paying for the roof. Recommend to anyone.
